The next stage of work on Na Rozdrożu Square has been planned for September 13, which will result in a temporary narrowing of the streets in front of and in the square itself. In turn, an energy connection will be built along Syta Street in Wilanów and the street will be narrowed. Road workers will also close the eastern entrance of Narwik Street in Bemowo. This difficulty is related to the reconstruction of Lazurowa.

On Wednesday, September 13, road workers will be constructing a temporary bus stop. For this reason, Aleje Ujazdowskie towards the center will be narrowed to one lane approximately 100 meters before the intersection with Agrykola Street.

– Painting of the new temporary traffic organization in Aleje Ujazdowskie and Aleja Szucha will also begin, so that it will be ready on Thursday, September 14, at 7 a.m. – said the city hall.

On the Mokotów side, Aleje Ujazdowskie will be temporarily narrowed to one lane in each direction, approximately 120 meters before the entrance to Na Rozdrożu Square.

One lane for drivers going to the center

On the square itself, those driving towards the center will have one lane to go straight and one to turn into Koszykowa Street. In the opposite direction, from Koszykowa Street, it will be the same: one lane for going straight and one for turning into Aleja Szucha.

The avenues will return to their normal cross-section just behind the square, on the side of Piękna Street.

– The road leading to Ujazdowski Park will be narrowed to one lane. You will be able to go left or right from it, the town hall said.

Two lanes will be available for those traveling towards Puławska Street – from both of them you will be able to go straight, and from the right you can also enter the “snail” leading to Trasa Łazienkowska. The exit itself will be narrowed to one lane.

Changes will also await drivers entering the square from Trasa Łazienkowska from the Vistula side. After crossing the “snail”, just after Koszykowa Street, the road immediately before entering the square will narrow to one lane.

Pedestrians and cyclists will also experience difficulties.

All underpasses will remain closed. However, all zebra crossings and bicycle rides at the square level will operate unchanged. The routes of public transport vehicles will not change.

Construction of a power connection on Syta

For a week, from Wednesday, September 13, an energy connection will be built along Syta Street. The road will be narrowed.

“The works will be carried out on the sidewalk, which will therefore be closed. Pedestrians will move along the sidewalk – on a section of the road that has been fenced off for them. This will narrow the road on Syta Street, but traffic will still flow in both directions,” the city hall informed.

The works will last from Wednesday, September 13, to Wednesday, September 20, on Syta between Siedliskowa Street (entrance closer to Glebowa) and the pedestrian crossing at Staw Zawadowski.

Reconstruction of Lazurowa

Lazurowa Street is being rebuilt in Bemowo. Currently, traffic flows there in one direction – from the S8 route to Górczewska – on the new western roadway, opened in June. The eastern road is under construction.

“In order to create an island dividing the road, a speed bump and lay the surface in the intersection area, it is necessary to close the eastern entrance of Narvik Street,” the town hall said.

Lazurowa Street – detourUM Warsaw

This will take place on Wednesday, September 13, at 7 a.m. Drivers driving along Lazurowa Street will not be able to turn left into ul. Narwik, while leaving the western part of the street will only be possible to the right, towards Górczewska.

The tour will lead through Górczewska, Powstańców Śląskich and Pełczyńskiego streets.

The intersection of Lazurowa and Narwik streets is scheduled to open in the last week of September. Lazurowa Street on the section from Górczewska Street to the S8 route will be ready in November
