The District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw announced allegations for two men in connection with the death of three older women. A 43-year-old Pole heard five allegations, including three killings. On the other hand, the 33-year-old Ukrainian was to take part in one murder, he will also be responsible for fencing. At the conference convened on Wednesday evening, the official findings were presented by a spokesman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw, Piotr Antoni Skiba. – At this stage, we can say that we are dealing with the case of two contemporary Rodion Raskolnikowe. “The starting point was what happened in Ursynów”

Junior inspector Robert Szumiata told about the details of the case. – Bearing in mind the nature of these events, the brutality of the perpetrators' action and who the victims were, the priority for the capital's policemen and the prosecutor's office was to determine as soon as possible who was behind these murders – emphasized the policeman.

The spokesman admitted that the forces and resources and determination of policemen involved led to the fact that two suspects were detained. – The starting point was what happened in Ursynów, on Wąwozowa Street. It was there that, just after midnight, a worker of Bank Millennium received a phone call from an older woman who asked him to change access to passwords to her account. Suddenly this conversation was interrupted. This information from the Emergency Notification Center went to policemen immediately. Policemen quickly appeared on the spot with the son of the victim to open the door. Everything indicated that the door was closed from the inside – he described. He added that the police were forced to enter the strength input. At that time, the prosecutor, who was downstairs with the policemen, noticed a man who hid on the balcony, tried to escape. He was detained.

The policeman added that after entering the apartment, the officers found a woman lying on the floor without signs of life. She could not be saved.

– With the man we found many items that indicated that he had robbed. They were jewelry and old coins – he mentioned Szumiata. He pointed out that the detainee is a Polish citizen and is 43 years old. – Another turning point in this matter was the detention of a Ukrainian citizen, a 33-year-old. He was detained in an apartment in Warsaw's Bródno – said the spokesman. There, the police also had to enter by force. The man barricaded himself in the premises.

The spokesman said that the 33-year-old found things that led the policemen to earlier crimes, i.e. to Franciszkańska Street and to Prince Trojden street. “It turned out that these men are related to these two deaths of women,” he admitted. And he noted: – We know that they were guided by very low motives and the motive of what they did was robbery. They stole many items, policemen regained many of them. The investigation is currently underway.

He pointed out that the perpetrator of the third murder – on Wąwozowa Street in Warsaw on Tuesday, February 25 in the morning – is also only a Pole. – Here we are also talking about the allegations of the crime of qualified murder in connection with the robbery – he emphasized. The prosecutor added that at the time of committing the last of these crimes the suspect was under the influence of intoxicants and it was only on Wednesday that it was possible to carry out procedural activities with him.

– As for the second suspect, a citizen of Ukraine, in connection with the incident at Franciszkańska Street, the suspect heard the accusation of the fingerprint of objects that were taken from this apartment after the crime. This is an act from Article 291 of the Penal Code. In addition, the suspect heard the allegation of participation, jointly and in agreement with a Polish citizen, in the murder of a woman in the apartment at Prince Trojden street – said Skiba.

The prosecutor emphasized that as a result of meticulous activities, among others at the place of residence of both men, items were found that indicated that they could come from the place of the next murder.

The third victim is 89-year-old resident of Ochota. Her body was found on February 23 in one of the apartments at Prince Trojden street. The family of the deceased noticed that the paintings disappeared from the wall. The senior was strangled.

Fourth victim

On Wednesday, the case already concerned four women. Senior body It was found on February 16 in an apartment at Pruszkowska Street in Ochota. Now policemen working on the case have associated them with the other three murders. However, the exact cause of a woman's death can only be determined after the autopsy.
