Warsaw. She did not return cars from leasing. She heard 12 allegations

A 27-year-old woman heard allegations of appropriation of property. According to police officers, the suspect, acting on behalf of one of the companies, concluded leasing contracts, and after their termination did not return the cars. The cars were to be passed on. Losses are twelve cars and nearly PLN 700,000.

Policemen received information that in one of the parking lots in Warsaw there is a passenger skoda, which was appropriated, and the victims are to be one of the leasing companies. They went to the indicated place and found a parked vehicle.

About two hours after the police arrived, the man approached the vehicle. The uniforms took intervention and identified it. “It turned out to be a 36 -year -old Russian citizen, who declared that he had rented a car a few months earlier from an unknown person claiming to be an employee of one of the Warsaw companies” – described in the announcement sub -inspector. The man was detained and transported to the command at Żeromskiego Street.

In the course of further actions, the police determined that a 27-year-old woman had a relationship with the procedure, who, as a person authorized to act on behalf of the company, concluded leasing contracts for cars. “After the lessor termination of the contract effectively terminate the contract due to financial arrears and calling to return the vehicle, the woman did not give back property. Instead, she appropriated the car entrusted to her, passing it on, even though she had no rights to it,” said the sub -inspector Kozłowska.

The officers said that the value of all vehicles covered by the proceedings is a total of PLN 695,000 – one of the cars was worth PLN 200,000, and the remaining eleven 45,000 each.

Policemen from the department for fighting economic crime and corruption gathered evidence, which allowed the woman to present the twelve allegations of appropriation of entrusted property. This type of crime is facing up to eight years imprisonment. Activities in this case are supervised by the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw Żoliborz.
