The Bielany police are looking for the perpetrator of a fraud that victimized one of the capital's residents. The officers found an image of a man who may be related to the case. He was recorded by the camera of an ATM in Poznań when he was withdrawing money from crime.

The fraud case is being investigated by officers from the Bielany department fighting economic crime and corruption. The injured party lost money on July 31 last year when she used a popular sales portal.

– The perpetrator sent the injured party a link to collect the payment, and then, after logging in to the injured party's bank account and establishing telephone contact by a person pretending to be an employee of the portal and intentionally misleading and persuading her to generate a BLIK code, he completed a transaction for PLN 2,400 – he describes Sub-inspector Elwira Kozłowska from the Warsaw District Police Headquarters V.

The police determined that the money lost by the woman was withdrawn from an ATM in Poznań. – The image of the probable perpetrator of this crime was recorded by cameras during the money withdrawal – notes the deputy inspector. Kozłowska.
