Items with a total value of over PLN 19,000 were missing from three parked vehicles. The police got to the 32-year-old, suspected of theft, thanks to the GPS locator he took from one of the cars.

The crimes took place in the center of Warsaw. The culprit broke into the steamed up on pl. BMW Constitution, stole a GPS tracker, games and branded cosmetics. In the other two cases, he took advantage of the inattention of car owners who left their vehicles open. From an Audi parked at ul. He confessed to one theft

– After reporting crimes by the victims, the policemen from the city center department for fighting crime against property took care of the case. They very quickly determined the person suspected of these crimes, using, among others, recordings from surveillance cameras and a record from a stolen GPS tracker – informs subinsp. During a search of his apartment, they found medical equipment stolen from a BMW, a game stolen from another car and various items that may have come from a crime. The man admitted to one of the acts, but could not logically explain how the stolen game and other items were found in his apartment.
