The police received the notification of the first collision at 5.16. It happened in Aleje Jerozolimskie near the Dmowskiego roundabout. According to Małgorzata Wersocka from the Warsaw Police Headquarters, the Daewoo Matiz collided with another passenger car.
– The driver of the second car ran away from the scene. The driver of matiz was taken to the hospital. A breathalyzer test showed him 0.24 per mille of alcohol in the exhaled air – informs the policewoman.
This means that he / she will be liable for an offense involving drunk driving, which may result in arrest or a fine.
The second collision happened just after 7 o’clock on Sobieski Street. – Toyota, Honda and Peugeot collided. The Peugeot driver left the scene on foot – says Wersocka. He also adds that the other drivers were sober. Nobody required hospitalization.
