A group of teenagers on electric bicycles and mopeds takes their toll on the inhabitants of the town of Wilanów. They move at high speed, show off on one wheel, enter the sidewalks and maneuver between pedestrians. On Sunday night they chased and challenged a man who drew attention to them. “He had to run away,” a witness to this situation told us.

On Sunday, just before midnight, four young men drove down Kieślowskiego Street in the town of Wilanów. They moved on vehicles reminiscent of electric bicycles and mopeds. One of the residents registered a dangerous incident with their participation.

In the film sent to our editorial office, we see the moment when the teenagers move the bicycle path towards the entrance to one of the buildings. There is a man in front of him who drew attention to them for a dangerous ride. His reaction caused an outbreak of verbal aggression. In the background we hear insults, shouts “You, give him!” and unpleasant comments. According to the witness of this event, it follows that the intervening neighbor was forced to escape. After all, the aggressors quickly drove away from the building.

“She was challenged because she noticed such a group”

The situation presented in the film is one example of what residents of the Wilanów town recently face. “On Monday, one of the friends was challenged from KU … because she noticed such a group so that they would not ride on the pavements at such a high speed. Does she have to die such a child so that her parents finally deal with the topic?” – the author of the recording wonders.

The film was published in social media on a local forum. The residents of Wilanów commenting on him described that they are dealing with “problem” almost every day.

“This pathology has already done races on one wheel from Ursynów to Branickiego Street. And so it is every day late at night,” writes one of the residents.

“Yesterday they went to Sobieski between cars, with speeds 50-60 km/h. Of course, without boards. They followed the green belt, against the tide, etc.” – adds another person, describing the situation from Sunday.

We also talked to a woman who saw a similar group of teenagers on electric vehicles on Sunday night on Powsińska Street. As she reported, on the section between Okręna and Saint Boniface, four-dead young men were moving in the middle of the road. – They behaved like crazy people. I had the impression that the bus driver was going. He trumpeted on them. Other drivers slowed down and trumpeted – she described.

According to residents' accounts, hazardous situations are notoriously in the area of ​​Branickiego, Kieślowskiego, Przyczółkowa, Sobieskiego or Klimczak streets. They also complain about dangerous incidents at the Royal Wilanów office and service complex, where the city guard is based, and the district office is located next to it. “Teenagers ride between pedestrians and playing children at high speed,” the author of the film told us.

Residents are afraid of their safety and expect a reaction from the services and district authorities.
