We will announce a tender for this investment – he said during a meeting with journalists.

Tender in the second quarter

The need to build a tunnel under the tracks along 1 Pragski Pułku Street has been talked about for many years. The first moves towards this investment appeared already in 2016. Then it was decided that the city and the railway workers would share the costs. But completing further formalities took a long time. It was necessary, among other things, repeating the environmental impact assessment. The construction preparation process was also complicated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

What about the viaduct in Rembertów?

The neighboring Rembertów also urgently needs a collision-free crossing of the tracks. In this district, preparations are underway for the construction of a viaduct along Chełmżyńska Street. A tender was announced in May, and we envelopes were opened in September. 10 companies applied and submitted offers ranging from PLN 68.5 to 87.2 million.
