Barriers no longer fence the building of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister at Aleje Ujazdowskie from the sidewalk. More than a week ago, a similar fence was dismantled in front of the Sejm and the Constitutional Tribunal.

The barriers, considered one of the symbols of the rule of Law and Justice, have just disappeared in front of another place: the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.

– The changes are visible to the naked eye, they concern the surroundings of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, and more precisely, Aleje Ujazdowskie and part of the sidewalk – reported Paweł Łukasik, a TVN24 reporter, from outside the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. – There are still traces of the railings on the sidewalk – he added.

On November 13, the barriers began to disappear in front of the Sejm. The dismantling began during the first session of the Sejm of the new term. A group of people who gathered on Wiejska Street decided to dismantle the fence. Recordings of the dismantling appeared, among others, on the website X (formerly Twitter) of Obywatele RP. The newly appointed Marshal Szymon Hołownia announced that the barriers surrounding the Sejm should “disappear” and that he had held talks on this matter with Agnieszka Kaczmarska, head of the Sejm Chancellery and commander of the Marshal’s Guard.

November 14 there were no longer any barriers in front of the Constitutional Tribunal. The spokesman for the Warsaw Police Headquarters, Sylwester Marczak, said then that “the latest analyzes did not indicate any threats in this place.”
