– Our rescuers, like every Saturday, practiced on the Vistula. They checked the boat, its technical condition. At one point, the current swept the boat away. She stopped at the bar footbridge under construction at Port Praski. It began to pull her under the barge. There were three firefighters on the boat. They were wearing vests, nothing happened to them. Rescuers were taken by the river police – informed junior asp. Bartosz MaciÄ…g from the Municipal Fire Brigade Headquarters in Warsaw.
As explained by the press officer of the fire department, the search for the boat is underway. It is not known whether it sank or was carried away by the strong current of the Vistula. It is possible that she stopped at the shore, in the bushes.
