The Warsaw land still hides “souvenirs” after the Second World War. At Stalowa Street, grenades and cartridges for a machine gun were found on the construction site. The find was secured by sappers.
According to the capital's city guard, the incident occurred in the afternoon of February 14 during earthworks carried out at the construction site at 43 Stalowa Street.
They lay underground since the war
“The excavator unveiled several rusted grenades and several dozen cartridges for a machine gun, which have been underground since the Second World War.
The city guard patrol fenced the area where the remains of the old fights protruded from the frozen earth. The post -war find was safely taken by sappers called.
