He hurt his family, took away his children's father – they say about Łukasz Ż. wife and mother of the deceased 37-year-old Rafał. The suspect responsible for causing a fatal accident on Trasa Łazienkowska will be transported from Germany to Poland on Thursday. The prosecutor's office will bring charges against him.
– I would like him to see my eyes, which are constantly glazing over at the moment. I would like him to realize that he actually hurt a person, a family, people. Because there are a lot of us who suffer after the loss of my Rafał – said the wife of the person who died in an accident on Trasa Łazienkowska in “Fakty”.
“My son won't come back to life, but maybe he will save others”
– This pirate comes along and doesn't care about other people's lives. He destroys someone's family, takes away his children's father. It turns life into a nightmare, causes despair and pain – she said in “Uwaga!” TVN, the mother of a 37-year-old man who died on Trasa Łazienkowska in mid-September.
– For causing a fatal accident, escaping from an accident, failing to provide help, or hiding, he deserves the highest penalty available in Poland. It won't bring my son back to life, but maybe it will save others, she added.
26-year-old Łukasz Ż. after the accident, the 26-year-old fled to Germany. He was arrested in Lübeck. Łukasz Ż. on Thursday it will be transported from Germany to Poland. He will return based on the consent of the German court, under the EAW procedure. He is expected to hear the charges on Friday.

Let's remind. The accident occurred on September 15 on Trasa Łazienkowska in Warsaw. On a wide and almost empty road at night, a speeding Volkswagen hit the rear of a properly moving Ford in which a family of four was returning home. In a split second, the life of the family driving the Ford turned into a nightmare. A 37-year-old man died on the spot. His wife and children – an eight-year-old girl and a four-year-old boy – were taken to hospital in a serious condition.
According to the prosecutor's office, the man caused an accident while driving a Volkswagen Arteon passenger car and then fled the scene. He is suspected of causing an accident in land traffic, driving under the influence of alcohol and failing to comply with the imposed penal measures. He faces nine months to 12 years in prison.
The next men – Mikołaj N., Damian J. and Maciej O. – were detained at the scene of the accident and charged with failing to help the injured and being supporters (they were supposed to help Łukasz Ż. escape). They face up to three or five years in prison. The men were arrested for three months.
We informed on tvnwarszawa.pl that Łukasz Ż. he broke the rules many times. Until the accident on Trasa Łazienkowska in Warsaw, the 26-year-old had broken the driving ban five times, but was imprisoned only once.
