The Warsaw fire brigade reported that the incident was reported on Sunday at 6:23 PM. It concerned a four-year-old who stuck his head between the concrete pillars.

– After reaching the place of the PSP troops, the head of the rescue operations went for reconnaissance. It was found that on the observation deck of the Palace of Culture and Science on the 30th floor, the child put his head between the concrete balustrade posts and could not pull it out – said Marcin Krupka from the Warsaw fire brigade.
As he emphasized, the actions of the PSP team consisted in securing the scene of the incident and the constant psychological support of the child. – The concrete posts and the child’s head were smeared with vegetable oil, then the child’s head was properly positioned and it was released. The baby was immediately handed over to his mother. The parents refused to provide medical assistance to the child – described the firefighter.
He also added that the boy felt well and was given a “lifeguard bear” mascot by firefighters. – Activities were carried out without the use of specialized equipment. At this stage, they were completed – summed up Krupka.
