Officers from the Warsaw Police Headquarters detained two more people involved in the attempted murder of a 61-year-old man, which took place last year in the center of Warsaw.
The failed attempt on the man's life took place in May last year. Let us remind you, a knifeman attacked a 61-year-old man in the very center of the city, right next to the Politechnika Square. The perpetrator stabbed him in the back and ran away, even though the man was accompanied by a security guard. He was detained several dozen hours after the attack.
The knifeman turned out to be a British citizen who flew to Poland specifically to commit murder. The background of the order was to be family and financial matters. The victim of the attack filed a complaint with the prosecutor's office two months before the incident. The man informed that he receives criminal threats and treats them realistically. He also pointed to the person he is afraid of.
During the proceedings, further people involved in the attack on the 61-year-old were detained. As prosecutor Piotr Antoni Skiba, spokesman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw, informed in July this year, four people were charged with a total of five charges. He then admitted that the case was still under development.
