Health Minister Adam Niedzielski announced on March 28 that “The Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology is being supervised, personnel decisions have been made, and work is underway on a new, ambitious restructuring plan for the facility.”

The head of the Ministry of Health said then that, unfortunately, the institute in recent years had not been run in a way that ensured balance, care for patients at the highest level and the largest possible number of patients. – In all three spheres, we conducted a very thorough analysis of activity and unfortunately, at the end of last year, I formulated an assessment that the management did not implement the goals that had been set – said Niedzielski.

He explained that these goals were reversing the negative tendency to worsen the financial result and to improve the scientific position. – This negative assessment translated into a change of management – said Niedzielski. In January 2023, Dr. Anna Depukat became the director of IPIN.
