The border guard reported that a 43-year-old resident of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, wanted by the Polish justice system with a European Arrest Warrant and an Interpol red notice, was detained at Chopin Airport by officers from the Warsaw-Okęcie Border Guard Post after arriving from New York.
The man was arrested on Wednesday during passenger passport control after the plane arrived from New York. – A 43-year-old Pole expelled from the United States of America fell into the hands of border guard officers when it turned out that he was listed in the search databases as a person wanted under a European Arrest Warrant and an Interpol red flag – said on Thursday the spokeswoman of the Nadwiślański Border Guard Unit, Capt. She added that these were drug offenses and bodily harm.
