The demolition of a part of the southern viaduct of Trasa Łazienkowska is coming to an end. Therefore, traffic on the Sedlaczka roundabout will be restored from Monday. Myśliwiecka Street will also be open to traffic.

The Sedlaczka roundabout was closed on January 2 due to the demolition of the first fragment of the southern viaduct of Trasa Łazienkowska at Agrykola Park located above it. As the capital city hall reported on Friday, “currently, in the area of the intersection of Rozbrat, Myśliwiecka and Łazienkowska streets, debris is being removed and the area is cleared.”

Buses are back on their regular routes

Traffic on the roundabout will return on Monday, January 16, but only on its western side. From 4.30 am, drivers will be able to drive along Rozbrat and Myśliwiecka Streets (from the side of Szwoleżerów Street). They will also turn into Łazienkowska. The connection with Myśliwiecka from Górnośląska will also return.

Buses 109 and 171 will again commute to the terminus near Torwar, and not, as in the last two weeks, only to Rozbrat Street. In addition, the basic routes of lines 107, 159, N33 and N83, running along Łazienkowska Street, will be restored, and buses 108 and 162 will again travel along Agrykola and Szwoleżerów streets.

There will be a pedestrian crossing under the flyover on the Łazienkowska side. “Such traffic organization will be in force until the end of May” – sums up the town hall.

The northern viaduct is now available

The newly built northern viaduct of Trasa Łazienkowska was opened to drivers on 22 December. Until the construction of the second viaduct, i.e. the southern one, traffic in both directions will take place on the northern side. Four lanes have been designated there – two in each direction: a bus lane with a width of three meters and a lane for passenger cars with a width of 2.25 meters.

The reconstruction of this section of Trasa Łazienkowska will last until March 2024.
