Warsaw. The services visited illegal gaming salons. 30 vending machines secured

Customs and tax service officers appeared on Wednesday in a gaming salon in Warsaw’s Ochota district, from where the slot machines were taken. According to a spokeswoman for the National Revenue Administration, these were actions aimed at illegal gambling. On that day, the services liquidated a total of seven such salons.

Tomasz Zieliński from tvnwarszawa.pl described that it was one of the pavilions located at the intersection of Grójecka and Dickensa Streets. – The customs and tax service officers appeared on the spot. They smash with hammers and then take away the arcade machines on a cart, our reporter said on Wednesday evening.

On Thursday morning, the information about the liquidation of the gaming salon was confirmed in an interview with tvnwarszawa.pl by Justyna Pasieczyńska, press secretary of the head of the National Revenue Administration. As it turned out, this was not the only point visited by the services.

– These were routine and standard activities carried out by the National Revenue Administration in the field of combating illegal gambling. As a result of yesterday’s actions, officers of the Mazovian Customs and Tax Office and police officers liquidated seven illegal gaming salons, secured 30 gambling machines and cash in the amount of about PLN 44,000, which was intended for payments to players, Pasieczyńska reported. She added that a total of five people were detained as part of these activities.

Pasieczyńska also pointed out that all the liquidated salons were located within the Ochota district.
