“There is an aggressive swarm of insects on a busy street and very close to primary school” – it was a notification that received city guards on May 28 around eight in the morning. The uniforms appeared on the spot and confirmed this information.

The matter was all the more serious, because Senatorska is a street often frequented by pedestrians, and next to it is a primary school that fills up with children in the morning. So there was a risk that aggressively behaving bees could attack someone.
Firefighters helped
In case of allergy to venom, it could end in a tragedy. City guards secured the area and urgently called the fire brigade. “Firefighters, arrived in place, took about half an hour to calm the swarm and place it in a safe container. About 9:30 Senatorska and nearby Primary School became safe in safe places” – emphasized the officers.

In recent days, this is not the first case when bees settled in the center of the capital. A week earlier, city guards and firefighters intervened against the swarm of bees on Długiej. The nest was located above the bistro.
