A truck driver got stuck on Friday evening at one of Mokotów’s intersections. He had trouble getting out of the narrow alley and drove onto the sidewalk, which had collapsed under the wheels of the vehicle. The policemen fined the man.

The incident took place after 8 p.m. at the intersection of Tatrzańska and Górska streets. – The driver of the truck that arrived at the nearby construction site tried to get out of the streets there. He had difficulties with “breaking” and at one point he drove onto the pavement, where he did not notice the telecommunication well, which collapsed under the left wheel near the cabin – reported Tomasz Zieliński, reporter tvnwarszawa.pl.

As he added, the driver initially tried to get the car out of the sinkhole himself, but finally the services – the police and municipal police – appeared on the spot.

– The driver of a DAF truck did not comply with the B3 sign – says Gabriela Putyra from the Warsaw Police Headquarters. This sign means that motor vehicles are not allowed to enter, with the exception of two-wheeled motorcycles. The policewoman also confirms that the services intervened on the spot because the vehicle blocked the intersection. He points out that the road infrastructure – the roadway and the manhole – has been damaged.
