The windows of an articulated bus traveling along Marszałkowska Street fell out. The passengers got scared, but luckily no one was hurt. The police explained to us what the cause of the incident was.

The incident was reported to Kontakt 24 by a passenger who was traveling on bus line 131 around 5:45 p.m. As she reported, all the windows in the rear of the vehicle were broken during the ride.

“The situation took place on the approach to the Hoża stop. Suddenly, there was a bang and people started shouting that the windows were broken and to stop the bus. I was riding in the front so I didn’t see how it happened, but the passengers on the other bus said they didn’t see anything, no “impacts,” a reader informed us.

The photos she sent show broken windows in the back of the bus, on the side of the entrance door.

The police intervened on site. – We received the report of this incident around 5:50 p.m. Initial findings show that the bus was traveling along Marszałkowska Street. At some point, it hit an Opel parked on the street – Rafał Markiewicz from the Warsaw Police Headquarters explained to us.

Most likely, the Opel had an open trunk lid and the passing bus hit it. – Both drivers were sober. Nothing happened to anyone, the policeman concluded.
