Warsaw. Thefts in Ohio. The father engaged his 12-year-old son

The police arrested a man who was engaged in thefts from garages and storage rooms. According to the officers, the suspect involved his son in the criminal activity.

Criminal investigators from Ochota have been working on several burglaries and thefts in the district for some time. “After a few days, they reached the person suspected of these acts. The selected 38-year-old was detained, and property worth several dozen thousand zlotys was secured in the premises he occupied” – emphasized Jakub Pacyniak, press officer of the local police in a press release.

“All the findings of the uniformed officers brought a surprising result. The suspect took his 12-year-old son to burglary” – explained the policeman.

Theft mainly from garages and tenant lockers

According to the officers’ findings, the perpetrators mainly targeted items in garages and tenant lockers. “Power tools and bicycles were looted” – he said.

“The suspect and the minor did not limit themselves to such activities. Once they dismantled and took cameras from one of the blocks on Szczęśliwicka Street. The value of all secured items was estimated at several dozen thousand zlotys” – he noted.

After the arrest, the father and son heard a total of six charges related to theft, burglary and receiving receipts.

Father temporarily arrested

At the request of the prosecutor’s office, the court imposed a temporary arrest on the 38-year-old. He could face up to 10 years in prison.

“The case of the juvenile was dealt with by the policemen of the juvenile and pathology department of the Ochota command. The family court will decide his fate” – added Jakub Pacyniak.
