A 23-year-old man has been arrested after a police check. Police officers looked into the armrest of his car and found drugs there. Then they opened a black bag under the seat.

On Wednesday after 10 p.m., police officers from the Bemowo patrol detained the driver of the Peugeot for inspection. – The man was nervous, the police decided to check what was going on. The officers revealed a plastic bag with the content of dried plants in the armrest, informed Marta Sulowska, spokeswoman for the Wola Police Department.

“There was a black bag under the passenger seat, and inside it was a foil wrap with many smaller ziplock bags with dried plants and a loose white substance,” she added.

The 23-year-old was detained, the secured substances were sent for further testing. The case was transferred to the criminal division.

– Investigators gathered evidence. In the Warsaw-Wola District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw, the suspect was charged with possession of a significant amount of narcotics in the form of non-fibrous hemp herb weighing over 19 grams and significant amounts of psychotropic substances with a total weight of over 70 grams (including hashish, amphetamine, cocaine) and 79 leaves of LSD and others, the policewoman said.

The 23-year-old was arrested and faces 10 years in prison. Activities regarding the proceedings are conducted under the supervision of the Warsaw-Wola District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw.
