On Tuesday afternoon, three cars collided on Wawelska Street. Although the incident looked serious, the police reported that there were no injuries. The wrecked cars did not cause any major disruptions.
– We received the report at 1:25 p.m. Initial findings indicate that three vehicles collided on Wawelska Street, at number 46: a Volvo, an Audi and a Hyundai. There were no injuries, the drivers were sober – Rafał Markiewicz from the press team of the Warsaw Police Headquarters told us after 3 p.m.
As the policeman noted, there are no longer any difficulties at the scene of the incident.
Wawelska is one of the busiest arteries in Warsaw's Ochota district. Photos from our reporter Olek Klekocki show that cars were previously parked outside the roadway, not blocking it. “When I arrived at the scene, one person was being treated in an ambulance,” he noted.
