On Saturday evening, at the intersection of Walcownicza and Czekanowska streets, the driver of a Renault hit the rear of a Toyota whose driver had stopped in front of a pedestrian crossing. An elderly woman crossing the crossing was injured. The police reported that the Renault driver had more than two permille.
– We received the report at 6:48 p.m. Preliminary findings show that there was a collision of two vehicles on Walconicza Street, at number 41: a Toyota and a Renault. One of these cars hit a pedestrian. The woman was taken to hospital – RafaÅ‚ Markiewicz from the press team of the Warsaw Police Headquarters told us.
He added that the drivers were tested by police officers for alcohol content in their bodies. – It turned out that the Renault driver had more than two permille.

A woman was crossing the lanes. The driver of the Renault hit the rear of the Toyota, pushing the Toyota into the pedestrian. An injured approximately 80-year-old woman was taken by ambulance to hospital, our reporter described. He added that the Renault driver was detained by the police.
