Police officers from Warsaw’s Ursus are looking for a man who allegedly committed fraud. The victims lost over PLN 300,000. – Anyone who recognizes the person visible in the published memorial portrait is asked to contact the police – appeals the local police station.
The incident took place on Thursday, December 7.
– Last week, there was a fraud on the premises of Ursus in Warsaw using the “legend” method. The perpetrator’s action was to mislead the injured party. The interlocutor provided information that the injured person’s financial resources were at risk – Jakub Pacyniak, press spokesman for the Warsaw III District Police Headquarters, told us.
– On one of the streets of Ursus, a bag with money and valuables worth over PLN 300,000 was handed over – he added.

The police are appealing for help in identifying the perpetrator. Anyone who recognizes the man or has any information about him is asked to contact the following number 47 723 21 09or 24 hours a day at: 47 723 21 01 with the officer on duty of the Warsaw Ursus Police Station.

“At the same time, we would like to remind and appeal for caution when making telephone calls and conversations with unknown people. Remember that officers and employees of public entities never call asking for money,” the police reminds.
