Warsaw, Ursynów. A square is being built on the site of “The Piano”, when is the auction for the second part?

“For now, there is stubble here, but there will be… a square with sports functions. We are starting work on the area of ​​the former “Piano” at Cynamonowa 21,” Robert Kempa, mayor of Ursynów, announced on social media.

He specified that in May 2024, an area of ​​3,200 square meters with new greenery and sports and recreational facilities will be made available to residents. “A 3×3 basketball court, a teqball table, a ping-pong table, exercise bars, hammocks and other urban furniture will be built,” he wrote.

As we have already informed on tvnwarszawa.pl, A shopping center resembling a piano was to be built on the plot at Cynamonowa Street. It was to be built by the company “Pasaż Handlowy Na Skraju”, which leased the land from the city. The foundations were poured and parts of the steel frame were erected, but construction was interrupted. A few years ago, the frame was dismantled, but the foundations remained. In 2021, after a court battle, the city regained the plot from the company.

The property is divided into two parts: for residential development and a green area. The part intended for the investment has 4,785 square meters. – Buildings up to 23 meters high are planned there. The ground floor will be commercial premises, and the six floors will be apartments, Kempa describes.

The second, smaller part of the plot will be occupied by a green area. – However, the corner of Gandhi and Cynamonowa streets is private property – informs Kempa.

The city wants to sell part of the plot (4,785 square meters) intended for the developer – it was included in Warsaw’s offer for the MIPIM International Real Estate Fair in Cannes.
