From Saturday, August 7, the next COVID-19 holiday vaccination point will start operating. It will be located in front of the Palace of Culture and Science, near the Centrum metro station and Warszawa Śródmieście station. Similar points also operate on weekends in the Moczydło Water Park, the Copernicus Science Center, the Warsaw zoo and at Hoover Square.

As announced by the city hall, the new coronavirus vaccination point in front of the Palace of Culture and Science will be open this weekend, August 7 – 8, from 9-20.

– The current pandemic situation has not lowered our vigilance – on the contrary. We are trying our best to prepare for the next wave of coronavirus and new mutations, so we are constantly trying to reach people who have not yet vaccinated. The new point in the very center of Warsaw is an opportunity to get the vaccine right away, without prior registration or registration – emphasizes Renata Kaznowska, vice-president of Warsaw. As he adds, currently over 63 percent. Warsaw residents are fully vaccinated.

Holiday vaccination points in Warsaw. location

Municipal vaccination points against CVOID-19 launched during the summer holidays are still operating: at the Copernicus Science Center, on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 – 17. Starting point in the main hall (on the left side from the entrance to the center); by Hoover Square (tent at ul. Krakowskie Przedmieście 60a), the point is open on weekends from 12-19; on the premises Warsaw zoo (near the hippo house), the point is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 – 17 and on the premises Moczydło Water Park, the point is open on weekends from 11 – 19

Vaccinations at weekend points are performed with preparations of the Pfizer brand (two-dose vaccine) and Johnson & Johnson (single-dose vaccination). There will be a qualifying physician on site at all locations to help it is also possible to vaccinate children from 12 years of age (Pfizer preparation).

Warsaw General Vaccination Centers

Vaccinations against COVID-19 are also carried out at four General Vaccination Centers in Warsaw: – at the clinic at ul. Chmielna 14 in Śródmieście – in the Wawerski Cultural Center at ul. Żegańska 1a – in the sports hall of OSiR Targówek at ul. Ossowskiego 25 – in the Białołęka Sports Center at ul. Strumykowa 21.

“For the convenience of people who want to get vaccinated against COVID-19, from August 2 to 31, the vaccination points at Ossowskiego and Strumykowa Streets are open from 7.30 to 20 seven days a week” – reminds the town hall.
