There was a water supply failure on one of the Prague streets. In the evening water fired from the pavement. It came to her by minute.
City guards from the 6th Local Department patrolling on Tuesday, June 3, before 19:00, the region of Praga-Północ came across at Dąbrowszczaków Street for an unusual phenomenon.
“In several places, the waterfalls flowed from between the pavement tiles, and in others, small, reminiscent of geysers, fountains fired from under the ground. The officers notified the Ambulance Service and set up the police car so that road participants from a distance could see the difficulties arising in this place. Meanwhile, the water arrived at every minute,” we read in the city guard.
There was a risk of a pavement and a parking lot
The guards informed about the situation of the inhabitants of nearby buildings asking them to warn their neighbors against the difficulties that may happen to them in connection with the failure. Because the pressure of water flowing out of the ground was large, there was also a threat to the collapse of the pavement and parking spaces. The endangered area was fenced with tape, the officers also managed to reach the car owners who moved the cars to a safe place. It took an hour to specialists from the Ambulance Service to master the failure enough for the guards to end the security.
