Wiktor Bołba, the founder and curator of the Legia Warsaw Museum, has died, and for over 50 years he was associated with the Warsaw club.

“We regret to inform you that on January 17, Wiktor Bołba, the founder and curator of the Legia Museum – the first facility of this size in Poland at a sports club, co-author of the Book of the Century, author of books about Lucjan Brychczy and Kazimierz Deyna, and a great enthusiast of the history of our club, died on January 17” – we read in a statement published on the official website of Legia Warszawa.

Club representatives recall the deceased as “absolutely unique, endowed with a perfect memory and widely liked by employees and fans.” “He was an authority, friend and advisor. He was irreplaceable. He was a champion in his profession. His departure is a great loss for the club community” – they emphasize. “Wiktor, your place will always be at Łazienkowska” – they add.
