The court applied three months of arrest to a 19-year-old man suspected of robbery and shoplifting. According to the police, the 19-year-old was detained when he once again came to the store he had robbed earlier.

According to a spokeswoman for Wola policemen, Marta Sulowska, a man suspected of shoplifting was arrested on Friday. – The man came to the store that he robbed earlier. The events were captured on monitoring. After checking in the police databases, it turned out that he was wanted in the case of the theft by another police unit and that he was suspected of robbery theft in Wola a few months earlier – Sulowska informed.

Investigators show that the man entered the store before closing. Walking around the store, he hid five boxes of perfume under his pants and sweatshirt. He only had chewing gum in his basket when he went to the cash register. – He informed the store employee that he would be back in the car in a moment, he had left his wallet. The vigilant security guard knew exactly what was going on. When he talked to the man, he tried to flee the store, he was agitated and aggressive. Employees tried to catch him, he struggled with him, finally he hit one in the face. Then he freed himself and ran away – Sulowska said.

The 19-year-old was brought to headquarters and sent to a police cell. The suspect heard allegations of theft and robbery. As it has been established, the 19-year-old has already had criminal record for various offenses, including offenses against property. The prosecutor supported the police officers’ motion to impose an isolation measure on the man and, by a court decision, he was temporarily arrested for three months.
