Warsaw. Work at the Konotopa node. Road workers occupy half of the connector

Road workers start replacing expansion joints at the Konotopa node. The works will take place on one of the connectors leading from the S8 route to S2. Difficulties will last until Friday.

On Monday, around 10 o'clock, the organization of traffic at the Konotopa node will change. “The reason is the exchange of expansion joints on the connecting meadow on the S8 (from Białystok) to S2 (Terespol direction). The works will be carried out at the half -occupied road” – warns the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways.

Half of the road will be closed

At the beginning, road workers will replace expansion joints on the right lane. During renovation, the speed on the connecting rod will be limited to 70 kilometers per hour. The work will last until June 13.

The next Monday road workers will deal with expansion feet in the left lane of the connecting lane. “Completion of works was foreseen on June 20, 2025 and depends on weather conditions,” reserves GDDKiA.
