– Europe must get rid of economic naivety. Economic growth must cease to be only a side effect of ambitious European politicians. It is to serve society, serve the economy and must be the goal of itself. However, for this to happen, we need our own technological competences, modern industry and efficient mechanisms of financing innovation. We need strategic independence and Poland is in my opinion a great example of positive changes – said Andrzej Domański during the Impact'25 event in Poznań.
Economic growth will accelerate. Thanks to investments?
Last year, the economic growth rate in our country reached 2.9 percent, with the EU average at 1.6 percent. In this respect, we were one of the European leaders. However, Domański's announcement shows that the economy will accelerate even more. – This year we are still accelerating, we estimate that the economic growth rate will be closer to 4 percent, but of course it is not only about economic growth in one or the second year, it is about a long -term long -term path – he said.
What plan does the Polish Minister of Finance have for the “long -term path”? You can say: investments, investments and investments again. – We need investment, but not all investments, but investments in the future economy. That is why we focus on the victims of the strong and resistant Polish economy, science and innovation, technologies of the future, energy transformation, infrastructure investments, the construction of a dynamic capital market and a transparent and friendly business environment. Impact'25. What about deregulations? “Cooperation with Brzoska perfect”
– Our goal must be to release the potential of domestic investors in the area of private equity and venture. Because these investments drive these more risky, but also groundbreaking investments. Only on the basis of not we will build a resistant and innovative economy. The Polish economy needs less bureaucracy and more trust. Therefore, as announced, we consistently simplify the tax system. Of course, we do it responsibly, without risk for the stability of the state's finances. For several months, entrepreneurs have reported their ideas deregulation. Although some of these proposals are already being processed, the declaration of the Minister of Finance from Impact'25 may disappoint some entrepreneurs. – Will we meet all the entrepreneurs' postulate? Probably not, but I want to assure you that we have a very pragmatic approach and we approach all the demands with an open head. Politics and the economy. What next?
– The challenges we face are naturally powerful. Political tensions are growing, but our potential is also powerful. We already have diagnosis. What we need is a definite action. In my opinion, the political awakening, which we witnesses, leads to economic awakening. Only a strong Europe will be able to defend our common values, provide and defend the European social model. Poland must set a direction here with its potential. The future of Europe depends on Poland and also our choices, including the future of Europe – added Andrzej Domański at the end.
