The weather in the Tatra Mountains requires a lot of vigilance. Last night there was frost on Kasprowy Wierch. According to IMWM, snowfall is also forecast. The authorities of the Tatra National Park remind you to be careful when hiking in the mountains.
As the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management announced on social media this morning, it was winter and white on Kasprowy Wierch today, and the thermometers showed -5 degrees Celsius. As TVN24 reporter Maciej Stasiński reported, the frost lasted all night.
“We predict snowfall high in the Tatra Mountains. The trails are slippery, be especially careful,” an appeal was made on social media.
