Jacek Tomczak on the #NaStart program. He reveals the project plans

– The program is to operate from the beginning of 2025 to the end of 2027. This is a minimum plan. We are ready to extend it – said the deputy minister. According to his estimates, within three years, approximately 170,000 households that intend to buy a flat or build a house will benefit from the prepared loans. #NaStart may cost the state a maximum of PLN 16 to 17 billion per decade. Importantly, the program plan also provides for a recalculation costs loan after five years to take into account current interest rates.

Tomczak also referred to the element of the project related to social housing. – We can say that PLN 1 billion is about 5 thousand apartments. If we receive financing in the full amount provided for in the draft act, taking into account new limits, in 2025, construction of 20,000 apartments could begin, in 2026 25,000, and in 2030 already over 35,000. Today's limits allow for the construction of only these 5,000 – he added.

The coalition must reach an agreement on the program

– The draft act on social forms and development of housing, i.e. the one concerning social housing, has already been adopted by the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers. It will probably go to the Council of Ministers meeting in September. This will be the first to go – Tomczak commented further.
