The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways has selected the contractor for the documentation for the first section of the bypass of the Warsaw Agglomeration. It is the western section that will connect DK92 with S7 south of the capital.
In the tender for the development of a “technical, economic and environmental study together with obtaining an environmental decision” road builders chose the company TRAKT, which submitted the cheapest offer amounting to PLN 12,440,220. As indicated in the GDDKiA announcement on this subject, the task of the design office is to “prepare documentation containing a variant section of the Warsaw Agglomeration Bypass located between the planned OAW connection with the national road No. 92 and the S7 expressway south of Warsaw. In addition, the contractor will prepare materials and an application for issuing of the decision on environmental conditions (DŚU) “- we read in the release.
The tender for the contractor of the study for two sections of the OAW: from DK 92 to S7 south of Warsaw and from DK92 to S10 was announced in December last year. Offers were opened in February. According to GDDKiA, in the case of the second western section of the bypass (DK92-S10) “works of the tender committee are still ongoing to select the most advantageous offer”.
