Winter, which has returned to part of Poland, will end, for now, with the last days of February. Snowfall and frost are still possible on Sunday and Monday. The first days of March will bring more sun and an increase in temperature.
On Sunday it will be mostly cloudy with clear spells and snow showers. The maximum temperature will range from -1 degree Celsius in the Suwałki Region to 4 degrees Celsius in Podkarpacie. The wind will be weak to moderate, in places stronger, northerly.
The sun will come out at the end of February
For Monday, forecasters also predict heavy clouds. Snow falls briefly in the western regions. Thermometers will show a maximum of -1 degrees C in the Suwałki Region to 4 degrees C in Western Pomerania. There will be a northerly light to moderate wind.
On Tuesday, sunny weather will prevail across the country. The maximum temperature will reach from 0 degrees C in the Suwałki Region to 6 degrees C in the Szczecin Lowland. The wind from changing directions blows with weak and moderate force.
The first days of March with an increase in temperature
Wednesday, the first day of March, will bring little to moderate clouds. On thermometers we will see a maximum of 1 degrees C in the Suwałki Region to 6 degrees C in the Szczecin Lowland. The wind will be light to moderate north.
Thursday will also be marked by small and moderate clouds. The maximum temperature will be from 2 degrees C in Podlasie to 8 degrees C in the Szczecin Lowland. Light to moderate north-westerly winds blowing.
Is it spring already?
A slight warming on Wednesday and Thursday, however, will not be an introduction to spring aura. We’ll have to wait a little longer for this one. In the first half of March you can see at least two cold waves in Poland. The temperature at night and in the morning can drop to -15/-20 degrees Celsius.
