Over the weekend we will have a temporary cooling, which will be felt especially by the inhabitants of the north of Poland. Temperatures will rise above 20 degrees Celsius early next week, with parts of the country set to turn hot again. Sunny moments in some regions can be interrupted by light rain and thunderstorms.
Within the next 24 hours, Poland will be within the range of a shallow bay associated with a low from north-western Russia, with a zone of little active cold atmospheric front, behind which a much cooler air mass from Scandinavia will flow in, informs tvnmeteo.pl weather forecaster Damian Zdonek.
The northerly direction of the wind will contribute to lowering the perceived temperature, especially in the north and north-east of the country, where it will fall below 10 degrees Celsius. In the night from Friday to Saturday and from Saturday to Sunday, ground frosts are again possible, especially in the northern regions.
On Friday it will be cloudy and moderately cloudy with numerous clearings. Locally, especially in the east and in the second part of the day in the coastal region, there may be weak and brief rainfall below 2 liters of water per square meter. They are possible in the Bieszczady Mountains storms. The maximum temperature will be from 14 degrees C in the Tri-City and 16 degrees C in the Suwałki Region and Warmia and Masuria, through 18 degrees C in the central regions, to 23 degrees C in Podkarpacie. The wind will be moderate, north, in the north and east, gusts will reach 40-50 kilometers per hour.
Weather forecast for the weekend
Saturday promises to be generally sunny, in the center and in the west of the country it will be sunny. Thermometers will show a maximum of 16 degrees C in the Suwałki Region to 20 degrees C in Lower Silesia. Light to moderate variable winds blow.
Sunday will turn out to be sunny in most of the country, sunny weather will prevail in north-eastern Poland. The maximum temperature will be from 19 degrees C in the Suwałki Region to 24 degrees C in Podkarpacie. Winds from variable directions will blow with weak and moderate strength.
It’s gonna get hot again
Monday will be sunny. More clouds will appear in the south of the country, and rainfall and thunderstorms may occur in the Sudetes. On thermometers we will see a maximum of 19-20 degrees C in the Suwałki region, through 22-23 degrees C in the center, up to 24-25 degrees C in the southern and western regions. Light to moderate, variable winds blow.
Sunny aura is also forecast for most of Poland on Tuesday. More clouds, in some places with rainfall, will appear in the south of the country. The maximum temperature will be from 22 degrees C in the Suwałki region to 26 degrees C in Lower Silesia. The wind will be southeast, moderate.
