Will the icy air flow into Poland for a long time? Check what awaits us in the weather in the coming days in the long-term, original weather forecast prepared by the presenter of tvnmeteo.pl, Tomasz Wasilewski.

It’s only been a few days since record heat in early October to the solid cooling that we feel across the country. Its cause is the Arctic air mass, which “slipped” from the north to our part of Europe following the atmospheric front. A similar situation will persist at the beginning of the week, because there will be a low pressure over Russia and a high pressure in Western Europe, which will cause the persistence of the northern, i.e. cold air circulation, among others. in the center of the continent. During this time, on the other side of the high pressure, much warmer air will reach the countries of Western Europe (see the map).

Later, from mid-week, it will get warmer and then in the west and south of the country we can expect temperatures up to about 20 degrees Celsius. Then, already in the second half of the month, thermometers will usually show temperatures of 10-11 degrees Celsius in the east of the country. up to 16-17 degrees C, and sometimes even 18 degrees C in western Poland.
