After the weekend it will still be hot, but later the temperature will drop below 30 degrees. Check the long-term weather forecast for 16 days, prepared by tvnmeteo.pl presenter Tomasz Wasilewski. What will the weather bring in the coming weeks?

The hottest day of this summer so far is behind us – the temperature reached 35.5 degrees on Saturday (Wielichowo, Wielkopolskie Voivodeship). It’s also hot on Sunday. The cause of this heatwave is the air that came to us from Africa, and the circulation favoring such movement of air masses was created jointly by a high located in the east of Europe and a low moving over the northern part of the continent. This low is associated with a cold front, followed by much colder air, which will penetrate our part of Europe from the north-west (see map).

Weather for 16 days

Before cooler air flows to the whole country, in the first half of the week the temperature may reach, especially in the south, 30-31 degrees Celsius. Later, however, we will all feel a cooling down and in the north of Poland it will be no more than 22-23 degrees C, and in the south 27-28 degrees C.

The last week of July promises to be with a similar temperature, not exceeding 30 degrees, and the aura will be clearly cooler in these days at the Baltic Sea and there we will sometimes see thermometers below 20 degrees.
