African hot air is already on its way to Poland. Check the long-term weather forecast for 16 days prepared by Tomasz Wasilewski.
Over Europe, such a pressure system is being created, which guarantees heat in our part of the continent. So we have a low in the west, which will be over Great Britain on Monday, and a belt of high pressure stretching from Scandinavia, through the center of Europe, to the Balkans and the Mediterranean Sea. And it is between the Western European low and the vast high that a strong stream of air is now forming, which will flow north directly from Africa and will reach, among others, our country (see map).
Weather for 16 days
Already in the coming days we will feel a clear increase in temperature and in the middle of the week, in many places, it will be 30 degrees Celsius, and in the west and south of the country it can be as much as 32 degrees Celsius. It will be the hottest until Thursday, while later, i.e. during the weekend and the last week of June, the temperature should not exceed 30 degrees – usually it will be up to 27-28 degrees. The next wave of hot weather will come to us in early July and then it can be more than 30 degrees again.
