The next hit of African heat awaits us immediately after the weekend. And what will be the beginning of August? Check out what else Tomasz Wasilewski predicts in his 16-day long-term weather forecast.
After a few days of moderate temperature, we will have a strong, but only temporary heat intrusion into Poland. Conducive to this, already on Monday, will be the low, which will be located over Denmark. It is in the warm section of this low, i.e. in the area between the cold and warm fronts, that our country will be located – in the hot air that will flow from Africa to the center of the continent. In turn, on the western side of the Danish low, much cooler air will flow from the north and in the middle of the week, when the low pressure moves inland, this colder air mass will also reach us (see map).

Weather for 16 days
Ahead of us is a sudden jump in temperature on Monday and heat up to 32 degrees Celsius. Later in the middle of the week it will be noticeably cooler, up to 25 degrees, and only about 20 degrees at the seaside. Then, during the last July weekend, another wave of hot air will reach us and we will see thermometers up to 30 degrees C. The first days of August promise to be hot, too, with a clear maximum temperature of up to 33 degrees C after August 5.
