Light frost is becoming more and more common, not only at night. What weather can we expect before Christmas? Check the long-term temperature forecast for 16 days, prepared by the presenter and forecaster of tvnmeteo.pl, Tomasz Wasilewski.
Two major pressure systems – a high centered over Scotland and a low centered over Italy – will now have the greatest influence on European weather. Their location will put the west of the continent, but also its center, within the reach of cold air, which will flow from the north along the eastern side of the high, reaching as far as Italy, France and even northern Spain.
In turn, the Italian low will bring temporary warming to southeastern Europe, directing warm air from the Mediterranean Sea there (see the map).

Weather forecast for 16 days
It will get colder in the coming days. This will be felt most in eastern Poland, where the temperature will be around zero degrees and sometimes there will be light frost.
Later, at the beginning of the next week, there will be several days of warming and then the thermometers will see even 6-7 degrees Celsius. Then, a few days before Christmas, slightly colder air will flow into our country again and in the east it will be -1/0 degrees Celsius. , and in the west to 4-5 degrees C.
