In our part of Europe, a radical change in the weather is coming after the weekend, which will be caused by a low pressure moving over Scandinavia. The presence of this low and the associated cold front for us means a change in air circulation to the north, i.e. cold. The cooling that will penetrate the center of the continent will bring us a drop in temperature during the day by about 10 degrees Celsius, and frosts will be possible at night (see map).

Weather for May 2023
On Monday it will still be warm, up to 21 degrees, but on Tuesday we will all feel the cold air and then the thermometers will show from 8-9 degrees C in the north to 13-14 degrees C in the south of the country. This coldest weather will last until the end of April, and in early May – during the long weekend – it is supposed to be slightly warmer, i.e. from 11 to 16 degrees.
In the following days, the temperature will slowly but steadily rise and will return to 20-21 degrees only on May 8-9.
