The next few days will bring windy, unpleasant weather. Wednesday promises to be a high temperature for January. This aura will be accompanied by very strong gusts of wind. However, this does not mean that winter will be completely pushed out of our country – snow and frost during the day will also appear locally until the end of the week.
On Wednesday, cloud cover will be variable, mostly moderate to heavy. In the eastern part of the country, snow of up to five centimeters is forecast, turning into rain of up to five liters per square meter. In the western part of the country there will be light rain up to five liters per square meter. The maximum temperature will range from 4 degrees Celsius in the Suwałki region to 12 degrees C in Lower Silesia. The wind will be quite strong and gusty, gusting to 60-90 km/h, southwest and west. In the west, gusts may reach up to 100 kilometers per hour, and in the coastal zone – 110 km/h.

Thursday promises to be mostly cloudy with some showers. In Podlasie, Masuria snow will fall in Warmia. Additionally, rainfall is forecast. The maximum temperature will range from 1 degree C in the Suwałki region to 7 degrees C in Lower Silesia. The wind will be moderate and quite strong, gusting to 50-70 km/h, coming from the north-west.
Weather for the weekend
Friday will be cloudy. There will be rain in the west and snow in the east. It shouldn’t rain in the city center. Thermometers will indicate from -1 degrees C in Podlasie to 6 degrees C in Lower Silesia. The wind will be weak and moderate, sometimes stronger, blowing from the west.
Saturday will be sunny in the western part of the country. In other regions, it is expected to be cloudy with snowfall, which, combined with gusty winds, will cause local snowstorms. The maximum temperature will range from -2 degrees C in Podkarpacie to 5 degrees C in Lower Silesia. A moderate and quite strong north-westerly wind will blow, with gusts reaching up to 50-70 km/h.
Sunday will be very cloudy with some showers. The maximum temperature will range from 1 degree C in the Suwałki region to 8 degrees C in Lower Silesia. The wind will be weak and moderate, blowing from the west.
