The coming days will bring light showers and, in some places, thunderstorms. In the middle of the week, the weather will change dramatically as it will cool down significantly. Low pressure whirlpools from the North Atlantic and Scandinavia are expected to pump cold.

She added that it would be over the southern regions of the country on Sunday afternoon. It will bring light showers and thunderstorms in the mountains. It will be pushed by cold polar air masses flowing from the north.

In the following days, Poland will remain in cold air masses, first polar, and from Wednesday, Arctic. The temperature will drop significantly. Low pressure whirlpools from the North Atlantic and Scandinavia are expected to pump cold. Weather fronts will form in moist air masses with cloudy clouds and rain, and snowfall is also possible. In the middle of the week, during the nights, the temperature in the north will drop below 0 degrees Celsius.

Weather for Sunday

Sunday will bring moderate and heavy cloudiness with light rainfall moving from the north to the south of the country, up to 5 liters of water per square meter. Thunderstorms are possible in the Lublin region, Podkarpacie and in the mountains. During lightning, it may drop to 10 l/sq m in some places in the mountains, and locally to 15 l/sq m. In the north of the country, after the front passes, clear weather is forecast. Thermometers will show a maximum of 14 degrees C in the Suwałki region, through 18-19 degrees C in the center of the country, to 24 degrees C in the Carpathian Foothills. The wind will blow from the west and north-west, moderate, sometimes quite strong. In gusts it will accelerate to 50-70 kilometers per hour, especially in Pomerania.

Weather for Monday and Tuesday

Monday promises to be cloudy with more showers. In the north-east of the country, it should generally not rain. In other regions, rain falls up to 5 l/sq m, in the south up to 15 l/sq m. There may be thunder in the mountains. Thermometers will show a maximum of 11 degrees C in the center of the country to 18 degrees C in the south-east. The west and south-west winds will be light and moderate.

Mostly cloudy with some showers are forecast for Tuesday. Moreover, it rains occasionally, up to 5 l/sq m. The maximum temperature will range from 8 degrees C in the Suwałki region, through 12 degrees C in the center of the country, to 14 degrees C in the south. The wind blows from the west, moderate, sometimes quite strong. In gusts it will reach 50-60 km/h.

Weather for Wednesday and Thursday

Wednesday will be cloudy with some showers. Additionally, there will be occasional rainfall of up to 5 l/sq m. Only in the north-east of Poland there will generally be no rain. The temperature at the warmest moment of the day will range from 9 degrees C in Pomerania and Podlasie, through 10 degrees C in the center of the country, to 12 degrees C in Silesia. There will be a northerly, weak and moderate wind.

On Thursday, heavy cloud cover and light rainfall of 1-5 l/sq m are expected. Only in the northeast it shouldn't rain. Thermometers will show a maximum of 6 degrees C in Podlasie, through 9 degrees C in the center of the country, to 10 degrees C in Silesia. The north and west winds will be weak and moderate, and sometimes stronger.
