The weather in Poland will be shaped by the Cord low pressure system with the center moving from the Benelux towards the Baltic Sea. The low will be accompanied by a system of atmospheric fronts, one of which – a wavy cold front – will move from the west to the east of the country, bringing increased cloud cover and generally weak, sometimes moderate rainfall. Slightly cooler polar sea air will flow behind the front from the west, which will cause a temporary, several-degree cooling – informs tvnmeteo.pl forecaster Damian Zdonek.

On Tuesday, the forecast is for heavy and complete cloudiness and light rainfall of 1-5 liters of water per square meter, locally up to 10 l/sq m. The rainy zone will move from the west to the east of the country. The thermometers will show a maximum of 13-14 degrees Celsius in the north of the country, through 16 degrees C in the center, to 17 degrees C in Podkarpacie. There will be a moderate and quite strong wind from the southwest. Its gusts will reach 40-50 kilometers per hour. In the mountains, the wind may be even stronger – up to 60-70 km/h.

Wednesday will bring us a lot of cloudiness and clear weather. Locally, in the morning in the east of the country, during the day also in the south, light, showery rainfall may occur. The maximum temperature will range from 8 degrees C in the Suwałki region, through 11 degrees C in the center of the country, to 14 degrees C in Lower Silesia. The southwest wind will be light and moderate.

– On Thursday, Poland will be in the warm sector of the deep low from the North Sea, as a result of which warm, dry air will flow again from southern Europe, guaranteeing a predominance of sunny weather. In the following days, we will see a continuation of typical autumn weather with variable cloud cover, periods of rain, stronger winds and moderate temperatures – says the forecaster.

Thursday promises to be bright and even sunny in some places. It shouldn’t be raining. The maximum temperature will reach from 10 degrees C in the Suwałki region, through 13-14 degrees C in the center of the country, to 15 degrees C in Lower Silesia. The wind will generally be moderate from the southeast, only gusty in the south and in the mountains.

On Friday we can expect heavy cloud cover, which will increase to total cloud cover from the east. There will also be rainfall, the zone of which will move into the country. Thermometers will show a maximum of 11 degrees C in the north to 16-17 degrees C in Podkarpacie. The wind will be moderate and gusty, coming from the southeast.

Saturday will be sunny, no rainfall is forecast. The thermometers will show a maximum of 10 degrees C in the Suwałki region, through 12 degrees C in the center of the country, to 13-14 degrees C in the Podkarpacie region. Light to moderate winds will blow from the southeast.
