From 11:00, residents of western Poland can expect storm. The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management has issued a first, or lowest, level warning. Before noon, storms are expected to appear in the West Pomeranian and Lubuskie provinces and in the western part of Lower Silesia.

Locally, up to 30 millimeters of rain may fall, wind gusts are to reach speeds of up to 70 kilometers per hour. Similar conditions are to develop from 14:00 in the eastern part of Lower Silesia, in Opole, Greater Poland, Pomerania, Kuyavian-Pomeranian and in the west of the Łódź province. IMWM adds that hail may occur locally.

According to IMGW forecasters, no precipitation is expected in the southeast and eastern extremities. The maximum temperature on Sunday, August 4, will be from 22 to 26 degrees Celsius, it will be colder on the coast and in the foothill areas of the Sudetes – about 20 degrees Celsius.
