Before the end of November, we can expect light frost and snowfall. Check the original long-term weather forecast for 16 days prepared by Tomasz Wasilewski.
After a few definitely warm days for this time of year, now it’s time to change the air circulation from the south-west to the north and north-west, and therefore clearly colder. It is favored by the high, the center of which at the beginning of the week and in the following days will be in Western Europe and over the Atlantic. At the same time, on the eastern side of this boom, that is over Scandinavia and our part of the continent, further lowlands and atmospheric fronts will wander, drawing cool air from north to south (see the map).
In the coming days, we will feel the influx of air masses cooler than before, but winter weather is still far away, and the thermometers will show 2-3 degrees Celsius in the east to 8-9 degrees in the west. Greater cooling will take place just before the end of November, and then even during the day it can be a bit frost, especially in eastern Poland. A similar temperature, with slight fluctuations up or down, will also remain in the first days of December.
Next 16-day forecast for next Sunday.
