The next few days will bring further dominance of warm, moist air from the Mediterranean Sea. However, his power over Poland will begin to weaken, and rainfall and storms will slowly disappear. However, along with relative calm, lower temperatures will come to our country.

– Poland remains under the influence of a multi-center low stretching from Denmark through Germany to Italy – said Arleta Unton-Pyziołek, forecaster for tvnmeteo.pl. Our country is located in the front part of the vortex, in its warm section, which means a further inflow of moist and mild air from the Mediterranean Sea. However, a cold front is pressing in from the west, preceded by a storm front in the warm air mass. This means that puffy clouds will develop again during the day.

On Saturday, the center of the low will move from the west over Poland, and the cold front will strongly enter the southwestern regions of the country. This will affect not only… storms, but also a drop in temperature. In the following days, the low pressure will move north-east towards Russia, and with it fronts bringing rain and storms. The warm air will gradually give way to the cooler polar mass from the Atlantic. Rainfall and thunderstorms will slowly fade away.

Weather for Friday

Friday will bring us cloudy, moderate and heavy clouds with occasional rainfall of up to 5-20 liters of water per square meter. Thunderstorms with hail and downpours of up to 30 l/sq m are also expected in places. The thermometers will show from 22 degrees Celsius in Western Pomerania, through 25 degrees C in central Poland, to 26 degrees C in Mazovia, Warmia and Podlasie. Light and moderate winds will blow from the east, with strong storms.
